The ATA Code of Conduct has undergone some minor amendments. Follow this link for the details...

ATA Code of Conduct Amended

The ATA Board has updated the Code of Conduct in accordance with the needs of the Company structure. The amendments are largely concerned with getting the wording correct (changing, for example 'Incorporated Association' to 'Ltd') for the legal structure.

 The only other amendments are:

  •  A change to "Associate" replacing the word "Affiliate" in the definitions listed in Clause 3 defining an ATA member.
  • A removal of any refernce to "cooling off" periods in Clause 36. The removal of this reference in what had been part (c) was due to it being unnecessary in light of consumer protection legislation and contract law.

The Code of Conduct is available on-line under the "Downloads" link on the Home Page. The June ATA Newsletter will remind all members to have the new updated version available for clients.
